LU Guanqiu, the founder, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of Wanxiang Group, passed away as failed to respond to any medical treatment at his home at 12:00 on October 25, 2017 at the age of 74. He was the member of the Communist Party of China, the Era Pioneer of Always Following the Party, National Model Worker and National Labor Medal. LU Guanqiu, the founder, secretary of the party committee and chairman of the board of Wanxiang Group, passed away as failed to respond to any medical treatment at his home at 12:00 on October 25, 2017 at the age of 74. He was the member of the Communist Party of China, the Era Pioneer of Always Following the Party, National Model Worker and National Labor Medal. In the meantime, he was the leader of the era—the most influential labor model since the founding of new China, China's best farmer-entrepreneur, national excellent entrepreneur and awarded the exploit of China township enterprises.
LU Guanqiu was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in December 1944. He started his own business in 1962 and founded Wanxiang Group on this basis. In April 1984, he became a member of the Communist Party of China and was the representative of 13th and 14th National Congress of the CPC, a deputy to the 9th, 10th and 11th National People's Congress, and a member of the presidium of 10th National People's Congress.
After Comrade LU Guanqiu passed away, Wanxiang Group established the Funeral Committee of LU Guanqiu. The memorial meeting will be held at 8 am on October 30, 2017 at the multi-function hall of Wanxiang Group.
